Integrative counselling: Honouring Your Uniqueness, Supporting Your Healing
As an Integrative Counsellor, I believe there is no single path to healing—just as no two individuals are the same. My approach weaves together different therapeutic modalities to support your unique journey, offering a flexible, compassionate space for self-exploration, growth, and transformation.
Integrative counselling means I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches—including Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic insights, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)—to tailor our work to your specific needs. Whether you’re facing anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or feeling lost in your sense of identity, together we will explore what’s going on beneath the surface, at a pace that feels right for you.
a safe non-judgemental space
At the heart of my practice is the belief that you are the expert of your own life. I’m here not to direct, but to walk alongside you, holding a safe, non-judgemental space where every part of you is welcome. Through our work, we will aim to understand your story, uncover patterns, and gently reconnect you with your inner resources and sense of wholeness.
My goal is to help you not only cope, but to truly heal, reclaim your power, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and connection to your authentic self.
If you’re curious about how integrative counselling could support you or someone you love, please feel free to reach out. I offer a warm and confidential first conversation to help you decide if this is the right fit.
Abuse Recovery & Breaking Unhealthy Relationship Patterns
Reclaiming Your Worth, Rewriting the Story
Surviving abuse—whether emotional, physical, sexual, or psychological—can leave deep wounds that linger long after the relationship ends. These experiences can shake your sense of safety, identity, and trust—not only in others but in yourself. Healing from abuse is not just about “moving on”; it’s about coming home to yourself, restoring your voice, and gently untangling the beliefs and behaviours that may have formed in the aftermath.
"Why do I keep choosing the wrong people?"
"Why do I stay, even when I know I deserve better?"
"Is something wrong with me?"
The answer is not that something is wrong with you—it’s that your nervous system and emotional blueprint are trying to protect you in the only way they know how.
Many survivors find themselves in repeated cycles of unhealthy or toxic relationships. This can feel confusing, disheartening, and even shameful—but it’s often a result of unconscious patterns rooted in past trauma. You may be drawn to what’s familiar, even when it hurts. You might minimise red flags, fear abandonment, or carry a deep belief that you are not worthy of more.
In our work together, we’ll gently explore these patterns with compassion, not judgment. We’ll look at where they began, how they’ve been protecting you, and what it would mean to choose something different. As an integrative counsellor, I bring together relational, trauma-informed and to support deep, lasting healing.
This isn’t just about surviving—it’s about transforming. You deserve relationships that are rooted in mutual respect, safety, and love. You deserve to feel whole, empowered, and deeply connected to your self-worth.
How counselling helps
- Counselling offers a safe, consistent relationship where you can begin to recognise and gently challenge these patterns, without judgment or blame.
- Together, we’ll explore where your patterns come from, how they’ve served you, and what it would mean to create something different—starting with your relationship with yourself.
- Using integrative and trauma-informed methods, we’ll work on rebuilding self-worth, emotional awareness, and secure attachment strategies, helping you learn to set boundaries, trust your intuition, and choose relationships that honour your needs and values.
You’re not broken—you’re patterned. And those patterns can change. If you’re ready to stop repeating the past and begin writing a new relationship story I’m here to walk beside you.
Supporting Teenage Girls & Building Self-Esteem
Helping Young Women Grow into Their Strength
The teenage years can be both exciting and overwhelming. It’s a time of rapid change—emotionally, physically, socially—and it’s easy to feel lost, insecure, or like you’re not “enough.” In a world that often tells girls who they should be, I provide a safe, supportive space where teenage girls can explore who they truly are.
Low self-esteem in teenage girls often shows up as self-doubt, anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or withdrawing from things they once enjoyed. Social media pressure, academic stress, friendship challenges, and identity confusion can all contribute to feeling overwhelmed or misunderstood.
My approach focuses on helping girls reconnect with their self-worth, develop emotional resilience, and build a strong inner voice. Using gentle counselling techniques, creative expression, and positive psychology tools, we work together to:
Build confidence and healthy boundaries
Understand and manage emotions
Explore identity and values
Heal from bullying, rejection, or trauma
Navigate friendships and family relationships with more clarity
Develop tools for self-soothing and self-belief
This is a space where girls are heard, validated, and encouraged to rise—not into perfection, but into authenticity. I help young women see themselves as enough—exactly as they are—and nurture the inner strength they carry, even when they can’t see it yet.
If you’re a parent or caregiver looking for the right support, or a teen girl ready to take a step toward self-love and confidence, I’m here to help.
